Welcome to Dell's Founders Club 50 Program for Up-and-Coming Tech Startups!

Guess what? Dell has been helping out tech startups for quite a while now. And just last week, they made an exciting announcement about their new program for up-and-coming technology companies. Cool, right?

The program is called the Founders Club 50, and it’s basically a super exclusive group of awesome companies that are all set for some serious growth. These companies have technology at the core of what they do, and Dell wants to give them a boost.

A Program to Accelerate Success

If you’re lucky enough to be part of the Dell Founders Club 50, you’ll get to enjoy a two-year program filled with amazing opportunities. During those two years, Dell will hook you up with all sorts of things to help your business thrive. Think technology, cash, marketing help, and chances to network with other cool people. Sounds pretty awesome, right? All of this awesomeness is brought to you by the Dell Center for Entrepreneurs, which is all about working with startups like yours.

I’m here to offer guidance and support to these companies during this important early stage, hoping that they will continue to thrive alongside Dell in the years to come, shared Ingrid Vanderveldt, Dell Entrepreneur in Residence and the public representative of the Dell Center for Entrepreneurs.

Dell has always recognized the importance of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and the Founders Club 50 is the next logical step in our commitment to helping fast-growing start-ups broaden their connections, discover valuable resources, and utilize technology to revolutionize their businesses, she added.

The Power of Innovation, Inside and Out

When I attended Dell World last December, our CEO, Michael Dell, made a great point. Now that we are a private company once again, we have the freedom to really focus on innovation. It’s something we’re incredibly passionate about. So, we launched a marketing campaign that celebrates our roots as a startup. Did you know that we were founded by Michael Dell himself in a college dorm room numbered 2713? It’s an amazing story, and we wanted to share it with everyone. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching the video of our Dell Beginnings ad spot below. It’s truly inspiring.

In addition to highlighting our startup origins, we’ve been investing in other startups as well. In fact, we recently announced the creation of a $300 million Innovation Venture Fund. This fund is part of Dell Ventures, our venture capital arm, and its purpose is to help new and exciting startups thrive. We want to support innovation in any way we can, and this is just one of the ways we’re doing it.

Now, you may be wondering why a well-established company like Dell would choose to invest time and money in startups that are outside of our own organization. It’s a valid question. The truth is, we believe that innovation is not something that should be confined to just one company. By fostering and supporting startups, we can tap into fresh ideas and perspectives that may not have been possible within our own company walls. It’s all about collaboration, and we’re excited to be a part of it.

I think the company is really dedicated to helping and supporting entrepreneurs and the startup community. But there’s more to it than that. I believe there are some important business reasons behind these initiatives.

Firstly, Dell Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurs are ways for the company to bring in fresh ideas and innovation from outside sources. The company might even end up owning some of these innovative startups, acquiring their technology, or making partnerships with them.

But it’s not just about outside innovation. Dell is going through a big transformation. They’re not just a hardware company anymore; they’re becoming a hardware, software, and services company. This is a huge change, and it means that all of Dell’s employees need to adapt. They have to stay up-to-date with what’s happening in the tech world, look for new opportunities, take risks, and come up with innovative ideas from within the company.

So, how do we create a culture that can come up with amazing new ideas? Well, there are two really important ways. First, we need to show our support for innovation to everyone. And second, we need to expose our employees to the incredible entrepreneurs of today, who have these cool ideas and a lot of energy.

What do you need to do to become part of the Dell Founders Club 50?

The Dell Founders Club 50 is a special group just for tech startups that have a lot of potential for growth. Dell is going to put in a lot of effort to help these companies succeed.

The latest group of startups in the Founders Club 50, which started in the spring of 2014, includes companies in lots of different areas. We have companies focused on data analytics, computer consulting, electronics, energy, entertainment, services for businesses, healthcare, information technology, marketing, mobile, networking, security, software, and telecommunications.

If you want to be a part of the Founders Club 50, your company needs to have technology as a really important part of its business. It also needs to be really creative and disruptive in its industry.
