New Rounds of Funding Available for Pandemic Recovery Grant Programs

Delaware EDGE Grants

Guess what? The Division of Small Business in Delaware is currently offering a brand-new round of grants called Encouraging Development, Growth and Expansion (EDGE) grants. These grants are made specifically for awesome, early-stage businesses that have been around for less than seven years and have ten employees or fewer. So, if you fit the bill, you’re eligible to apply for an EDGE grant.

What can you use the grant funds for? Well, almost anything you need to give your business a boost! This includes things like marketing campaigns and buying necessary equipment. However, keep in mind that the program does require a three-to-one match, which means that your business needs to contribute some of its own funds as well. So, it’s like a team effort between you and the program.

If you’re interested, you’ve got to act fast! The deadline to submit your application is March 31. That’s just around the corner! Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to take your business to the next level.

Saco Small Business Grants

I’ve got some exciting news! Saco, Maine is all set to launch a fantastic new program that’ll give a helping hand to small businesses like yours and boost our local economy. It’s called the Small Business Grant program, and let me tell you, it’s pretty awesome!

Here’s the deal: if you have a small business with 50 or fewer employees, you can apply for this grant. And guess what? The city is going to pitch in some funds to match what you contribute. How cool is that?

But wait, there’s more! You gotta use these funds for non-operational expenses, and you’ve gotta come up with a solid project proposal to show the city what you have in mind. They want to make sure they’re supporting projects that really make a difference.

Now, I know you’re probably wondering how much money you can get. Well, here’s the thing – the city’s Economic Development Department wants to help out as many businesses as possible. So, depending on how many folks apply, they might have to prorate the amounts. But don’t let that stop you from applying!

Oh, one more thing – you can apply anytime! Yep, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis as long as there’s still money available. So don’t wait too long – get cracking on that awesome project proposal of yours!

Lackawanna County, PA

Guess what? I have some exciting news for you! In Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, the wise commissioners have just given the green light to an awesome grant program. Brace yourself for the Combat Inflation Business Grant Program, which is specifically designed to help out small businesses like yours. This is your chance to shine! I’m talking about a hundred grants that will be up for grabs in our area.

The best part is that this program is open to businesses with a hundred employees or less. So whether you’re a solo entrepreneur or have a small team supporting you, you’re eligible to apply. We all know how tough it’s been during this pandemic, and the grant program recognizes the hardships you’ve faced.

What’s in it for you? Well, eligible businesses can apply for up to $5,000! Yes, you read that right. The program is here to give you a helping hand with a financial boost. And here’s another exciting detail: the funds come from the American Rescue Plan Act. So not only do you need to meet the program’s requirements, but you also need to meet the federal requirements in order to receive the funds.

Introducing the MeridenBIG Grant Program!

In Meriden, Connecticut, we are taking action to support our local businesses and promote economic growth. Thanks to funding from the federal American Rescue Plan Act, we are investing $1.5 million to expand the MeridenBIG grant program. This program was initially created with $5 million to help businesses start or relocate to Meriden by covering costs related to improving or renovating their buildings.

Now, with this new round of funding, we want to support the existing businesses in our city. We understand that running a business can be challenging, especially during these uncertain times. That’s why we are offering the opportunity for local businesses to apply for MeridenBIG funds. The amount of funding available will vary depending on the size of the business and the number of employees.

Applying for the MeridenBIG funds is easy and convenient. You can complete the application process online, and there are specific criteria and guidelines to help you determine if you are eligible. We encourage all eligible businesses in Meriden to take advantage of this opportunity and apply for the funding that can make a significant difference in your business operations.
