What does the business do?

Well, Re-Fabbed is all about connecting with people both online and in person. They’ve got this amazing DIY/Decorating website and social media presence that’s all about inspiring and teaching folks how to decorate and do-it-themselves without breaking the bank. Pretty neat, huh?

In addition to Re-Fabbed’s success and my own expertise in the online space, I decided to start an online coaching group. I wanted to teach other entrepreneurs how to profit and thrive in the online world, just like I did. Currently, I have more than 1000 members in the group, with up to 2000+ at certain times of the year.

I also own Re-Fabbed Boutique, an exclusive online store that offers women’s clothing, accessories, and shoes. We ship to all 50 states and even internationally.

The Boldest Move I’ve Made

Taking a leap of faith and starting from scratch.

Let me tell you about my journey from a stable job to starting my own business. You see, I had a great career in a small rural town, with good pay and amazing benefits. It was considered one of the best jobs in the area. But then, my husband and I made a big decision.

We talked it over and decided that I would leave my job after six months of starting my own business. We knew it was a huge risk, as I wasn’t making any money at the time. However, the main reason for starting my business was to be able to stay at home with my children, and we believed it was the right step forward.

It was a scary leap into the unknown, but we prayed and thought long and hard. And with faith, we took that leap.

How I’d use an extra $100,000

If I had an extra $100,000, I would use it to create a bigger office and warehouse space for our company. We have outgrown our current space and need more room for all our employees to work together. I want to create a creative and beautiful workspace for everyone. It would be a wonderful investment for the future of our business.

A Major Step

Three years ago, my husband also left his well-paying job as a journeyman lineman with over a decade of experience to join me in running our business. He had always been a tremendous source of support behind the scenes, but now he plays an even more vital role. We’re in this together, as a team. He devotes all his time to the boutique side, ensuring its growth and success. And let me tell you, we make quite a formidable duo!
