How it all got started

Believe it or not, it all began with frustration.

Let me tell you a little story. Back in 2014, my partner and I moved into our cozy little apartment in the heart of New York City. Like most people living in the city, we quickly realized that our closet space was severely limited. And let me tell you, my partner’s underwear drawer was seriously overstuffed.

My Greatest Achievement

The highlight of my journey was when I had the incredible opportunity to appear on the popular show Shark Tank.

I couldn’t believe it when I found out that I would be sharing my story with over 6 million people. It was a surreal experience that filled me with excitement and nerves. Little did I know, this would be a game-changer for my business.

Prior to the show, I made a bold move and invested in extra inventory. It was a risky decision, but one that paid off tremendously. As soon as the episode aired, orders came pouring in. Thanks to my foresight, I was prepared to accommodate this sudden influx of demand.

Not only did the show bring us increased sales, but it also helped us build trust and loyalty among our customers. Their positive feedback and continued support truly elevated our brand to new heights.

Taking a Leap of Faith

One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was completely changing our website.

It wasn’t an easy decision, as our website was already functional and serving its purpose. However, I realized that in order to grow and evolve as a business, we needed to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape.

We knew the process wouldn’t be without challenges, but we were determined to make it work. We painstakingly worked on revamping our website, ensuring that the new design was user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand image.

Although the change was nerve-wracking, it proved to be a worthwhile gamble. Our updated website not only attracted new customers but also improved the overall user experience. It was a risk that catapulted our company to new levels of success.

So here’s the deal, guys. We recently made some big changes to our company. We moved our CRM system and spruced up our website to work better on mobile phones. As an e-commerce site, our store and how our customers feel about us is super important. We took a big leap of faith, hoping that these changes would make the customer experience even better. But let me tell you, it was a little nerve-wracking. We had to move a bunch of data and interrupt the way our customers were used to shopping with us. We didn’t want to upset our loyal customers or scare away new ones. But guess what? It all worked out in the end. The shopping experience got a whole lot better without losing what our loyal customers loved. It was definitely a risk worth taking, and we learned a valuable lesson from it.

What I Learned

When I look back, I realize that the mistakes we made were really important for the growth of our brand. They were tough lessons, but ones that we could only learn through experience.

How I’d Use an Extra $100,000

I would use it to create more partnerships with other brands.

You see, I love working with brands that share our values and are really exciting, just like we did in the past with JetBlue. With more money, we could take these collaborations to a whole new level.

Our Team Tradition

We celebrate big victories together.

Every week during our team meeting, we all take turns sharing a win from the previous week. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big or small win, or if it’s about our personal or professional lives. This tradition really brings our team together and keeps us motivated.
