United Way Prosperi-Key Grants
Did you know that there’s an awesome opportunity for 20 small businesses in the Greater Dayton Area? United Way is offering a special grant for these businesses, and it’s called the Prosperi-Key Grant. What does it do? Well, it gives each business a chance to advertise on the Prosperi-Key platform for a whole year, and they’ll get $1,500 to do it!
Now, you might be wondering, what’s this Prosperi-Key platform? It’s actually pretty cool. It helps out people who are living from paycheck to paycheck by connecting them with discounts and services they wouldn’t normally have access to. It started in 2021, and it’s all about bridging the gap between those who need assistance and those who want to help. The platform focuses on something called ALICE households, which are households that earn a little bit more than the limit for welfare programs, but still have a hard time making ends meet each month.
United Way knows that even though these households have tight budgets, they still have some spending power. And that’s where the Prosperi-Key Grant comes in. To be eligible for this grant, businesses need to commit to being a part of the Prosperi-Key platform for two years. They also need to meet two criteria: having no more than 500 employees and making less than $1 million in revenue each year. If you meet those requirements, you can apply for the grant, but you should act fast because it’s given out on a first-come, first-served basis!
Snow Hill Small Business Grant
I’ve got some exciting news for business owners and commercial property owners in Snow Hill, Maryland. The Chamber of Commerce is offering an awesome grant opportunity just for you! Thanks to the money they raised at the Oyster Roast and Seafood Festival, they’ve got a total of $25,000 to give away.
Now, let me tell you what this grant is all about. The main goal is to help our community grow economically. How? By supporting both business owners and property owners. We want to make sure that all the local businesses in the area can attract and keep customers. And how can we do that? By making their commercial spaces look amazing and safe!
Fifth Third Bank Employee Grant Program
I’m excited to share with you the fantastic support shown by the employees of Fifth Third Bank towards local small businesses. They showed their love and appreciation by nominating these businesses for an incredible grant opportunity. This grant is a whopping $53,000, and guess what? The recipients can use it in whatever way they need most. Isn’t that amazing?
Get Ready for the Merchants Commercial Bank Small Business Grants
I’m excited to share some great news! Merchants Commercial Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York have joined forces to give out Small Business Recovery Grants to five local companies in the U.S. Virgin Islands. You might be wondering, what exactly does that mean? Well, let me break it down for you!
First things first, the Small Business Recovery Grant is a special program offered by FHLBNY to its member banks. Its goal is to provide assistance to small businesses and non-profit organizations in their local communities. And guess what? Merchants Commercial Bank is one of those member banks.
Now, let’s talk about the lucky businesses that received these grants. We have B. Kraft Cooks, Alliance Point Charter LLC, Global Marine LLC, Island Green Building Association Inc., and My Brother’s Workshop. Each of these amazing companies was awarded $10,000 to help them overcome challenges or seize new opportunities for growth.
