1. Keep It Short

2. Provide Extra Service

When it comes to shipping our products, we use text messages to let customers know when their order is shipped and out for delivery. This way, we can ensure that customers are aware of their order and can read our shipping and receiving policies. 3. Prioritize Building Relationships

When it comes to text conversations with clients, it’s important to remember that it’s a two-way street. That means setting boundaries from the beginning. If you don’t, you could end up overwhelmed by texts during your personal time and risk losing important messages. It’s equally important to consider your clients and not do the same, as it can upset them.

9. Keep It Short and Simple

Here at InList, we understand that some clients prefer not to be interrupted with phone calls. In certain situations, we’ll start with a text message. We’ve learned that people prefer short and quick responses. We won’t ask complex questions through SMS. We’ll ask for answers that can be given in just one to three words, so that we can get a faster reply. 10. Share Valuable Information

I believe in sending daily health tips through text messages to our users, ensuring that every message we send is valuable. This is a responsibility that comes with the power of communication. Since our users have chosen to receive messages from us, we would never break their trust by spamming them. We also pay attention to the feedback we receive from text message surveys, as it helps us understand what our users expect from us. Text messaging is a powerful tool because it allows us to instantly reach our audience.

11. Obtain Consent

It’s important to remember that just because someone has shared their cell phone number with you, it doesn’t give you the right to text them without their permission. There have been legal consequences for businesses that engage in text message advertising without obtaining consent first. Always make sure that the people you want to text have explicitly opted in to receiving messages from you.
