By Ronald Smith

Today, I’m going to show you how to create a LinkedIn company page that will help you drive sales and grow your business. Sounds exciting, right? Let’s dive in!

1. Sign in and Get Started

First things first, log into your LinkedIn account. If you don’t have one, don’t worry – it’s free and easy to sign up. Once you’re in, click on the Work icon in the top right corner and select Create a Company Page.

2. Choose a Page Type

LinkedIn offers two types of company pages: Small Business and Medium to Large Business. Select the one that best suits your company’s size and needs.

3. Fill in the Basic Information

Now, it’s time to provide some essential details about your company. Add your company name, website URL, industry, and company size. Also, don’t forget to upload your logo to make your page look professional and trustworthy.

4. Craft an Engaging Company Description

Here’s your chance to grab people’s attention! Write a compelling company description that highlights what makes your business unique. Use clear and concise language, and focus on the value you provide to your customers. Remember, you want to captivate potential clients and make them curious to learn more about your offerings.

5. Showcase Your Products and Services

Now is the perfect time to showcase what you have to offer. Create separate sections to highlight your products, services, and any special promotions. Use compelling visuals, catchy headlines, and concise descriptions to make them stand out.

6. Add a Cover Image and Showcase Your Team

A captivating cover image can speak volumes about your company’s personality. Choose an image that represents your brand and resonates with your target audience. Additionally, introducing your team members with their photos and short bios can help build trust and establish a personal connection with potential customers.

7. Share Engaging Content Regularly

To keep your company page alive and thriving, it’s essential to share valuable content frequently. This can include insightful articles, industry news, success stories, and updates about your products or services. The key is to provide useful information that your target audience will find interesting and relevant.

8. Engage with Your Followers

Building relationships is crucial on LinkedIn. Engage with your followers by responding to their comments, answering their questions, and sharing their content. Show that you value their support and are genuinely interested in their opinions. This will help foster a sense of community and loyalty around your brand.

9. Analyze and Optimize

Lastly, don’t forget to monitor your page’s performance and make necessary improvements. Utilize LinkedIn’s analytics tools to track your audience engagement, page views, and follower demographics. This data can help you understand what’s working and what needs tweaking, allowing you to optimize your page for maximum impact.

Okay, I hope you found this guide helpful! Building an engaging LinkedIn company page takes time and effort, but the results can be truly rewarding. So why wait? Get started today and watch your sales soar!

Step-by-Step Guide on Building a LinkedIn Business Page That Boosts Sales

Now is the perfect time to create or update your LinkedIn company page. Why? Well, LinkedIn launched some awesome company page analytics on July 31, 2013, and they added some new company page features in late 2012. So, you’ve got some great tools at your disposal.

Want to know how to create a LinkedIn company page that really stands out and helps you make those sales? Well, I’ve got you covered. Check out my step-by-step guide below.

Before we dive in, here’s what you need:

  • You currently work for the company.
  • Your job is listed in the Experience section of your LinkedIn profile.
  • You have a company email address (like [email protected]) that you added and confirmed on LinkedIn.
  • Your company’s email domain is unique to your company. This means you can’t use email domains like gmail.com or yahoo.com because they are not exclusive to your company.
  • Your profile strength on LinkedIn should be listed as intermediate or all star.
  • You need to have a good number of connections on your personal profile.

Build an Effective LinkedIn Company Page that Generates Sales

To create a compelling LinkedIn company page that drives sales, it’s important to follow the same advice given for optimizing your personal profile in 5 Essential Elements of an Optimized and Useful LinkedIn Profile. Putting in the effort to complete all the sections of your company page will make it more powerful and effective.

Start by providing a thorough company overview in the dedicated section.

Company Overview

  • Step 1: Go to the main page and look for the section called Interests. Under that section, you will find a category called Companies. Click on it.
  • Step 2: Once you are on the next page, you will see a button on the right-hand side that says Add a Company. Click on that button.
  • Step 3: On the next page, you will need to provide some information about your company. Fill in the fields for the company name and your email address. Don’t forget to check the confirmation box.
  • Step 4: After you submit your information, LinkedIn will send you an email to confirm your company page. Once you receive that email, you can go to your company page and start adding all the important details.

To fill in the information, you need to provide details like the company language, name, type, size, website, industry, operating status, year founded, and locations. When you create your description, be sure to include relevant keywords. This is an important part of the company profile.

  • Step 5: Now, let’s add a banner image and logos. The banner image is the first thing people will see when they visit your Company Page, so it should represent the image you want to convey. Here are the specifications for the images: Image – It should be at least 646 x 220 pixels and no larger than 2 MB. Logo – It should be 100 x 60 pixels and no larger than 2 MB.

Once you’ve completed all the details, click on publish. Your page will then go live.

Add Products and Services

  • Step 1: Go to your Main Company page and select products.
  • Step 2: Click on edit page on the right-hand side, and choose add product or service from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the following page:

This might seem a bit overwhelming, which is why many people don’t complete this section.

However, if you skip it, you’ll be missing out on incredible opportunities. So take a few minutes to input the information. Remember to include keywords in the description, images, and videos if you have any.

  • Step 3: Once you have filled everything out, click publish and the page will be live on LinkedIn.

Add Product and Service Overview

  • Step 1: Go to your main company page and choose products.
  • Step 2: Once you click on edit page on the right side, select edit page in the drop-down menu. This will take you to a page with the following options: Step 1: Make different versions of this page (for now, we’ll skip this). Step 2: Describe what your company offers.

Get People Interested

Besides the title, you can also include a short description of your products and services. I like to use this space to encourage people to take action.

If someone is taking the time to look through what you offer, you don’t want them to leave without giving you their contact information. This way, you can keep promoting your business to them. In return for their contact information, you should offer something valuable – like a free report or ebook.

So, let me tell you about some cool ways to add calls to action on your products page. Trust me, it’s super important! One way is to create a link in your product banner image just like Hubspot does with their free demo offer. Isn’t that neat?

Check this out! InSegment, this awesome digital marketing agency in Newton, MA, got a whopping 200% increase in website traffic from LinkedIn. How did they do it, you ask? Well, they added banners to the top of their LinkedIn company pages. And these banners had a clickable Learn More button and their website URL. Genius idea!

  • Step 3: Now, here’s an interesting tip for you. You can actually change the order of the products you showcase on your LinkedIn company home page. And guess what? The first product displayed is the most important one. So choose wisely!

Alright, once you’ve got everything set up, all you need to do is click publish and your page will go live on LinkedIn, reaching a whole bunch of people. Exciting stuff, right?

Now here’s another cool idea:

Once you’ve added your products and services, you can now receive recommendations for them. Recommendations are incredibly powerful tools for boosting sales. All you have to do is go to your product page and click on request recommendations. You’ll be provided with a ready-to-go request form that you can customize or use as is.

Careers

Is hiring and promoting job opportunities a priority for your company? If it is, then you might want to consider upgrading your company pages to include the careers button. This will give you the ability to showcase job opportunities on your company page and attract top talent.
