The U.S. Small Business Administration has just announced the winners of its prestigious Small Business Person of the Year award for 2014. This award is given out in all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
Each year, the SBA selects an outstanding individual from each state and territory who has achieved remarkable success in their small business. These winners are not only recognized for their personal accomplishments, but also for their contributions to the nation and their local communities. In a message to the winners, SBA Assistant Administrator Fred Baldassaro expressed his appreciation:
