Manage Your Real Estate Business Online with SkySlope

Real estate has always been an exciting industry in America. I can’t believe how many agents and brokerage firms there are, all working tirelessly to sell billions of dollars’ worth of properties. That’s one of the reasons why so many young professionals are drawn to this field.

But let me tell you, achieving success in real estate is no easy task. It requires a lot of hard work and careful planning. Just ask Tyler Smith, the founder and CEO of SkySlope, a company that has revolutionized the industry.

When Tyler was just 19, he and a friend decided to buy a house. They were clueless about the whole home buying process. They found a house they liked and made an offer. And here’s the crazy part: their Realtor actually advised them to skip the warranty and home inspection in order to save money!

In retrospect, that was some really bad advice. Right after I closed the deal, the hot water heater in my new house broke down and ended up costing me more to fix than if I had gotten a home inspection and a home warranty.

The terrible experience made me realize that if my Realtor could provide such poor customer service and still make a ton of money, then anyone could be successful in the real estate business.

Real estate seemed like an obvious choice, I thought. I believed I could do it better and it seemed pretty straightforward.

However, cracking into the industry turned out to be more challenging than I had initially anticipated.

I used to think that getting into real estate would be easy, I admit. But I quickly realized that it was a lot more challenging than I expected. However, I eventually discovered the key to success: building strong relationships. I explain that providing exceptional customer service was the secret to my achievements. By going above and beyond for my clients, they couldn’t help but recommend me to others. And that’s how I built my entire business.

The business I’m talking about is SkySlope – a rapidly growing software platform designed specifically for real estate agents and brokerages. It’s a service that helps them efficiently manage their transactions online.

Software for Real Estate Brokers

Ever since SkySlope started in 2010, it has grown a lot. In just the past year, the company’s business has more than doubled in size. Now, it helps manage transactions for some of the biggest brokerages in America. Century 21, Keller Williams, and Alain Pinel are all big fans of SkySlope and what it offers.

But let me tell you, creating SkySlope wasn’t easy. Smith had to spend a long time finding the right team to tackle the problems he faced when he was selling real estate. These problems were a big concern for the industry.

As a Realtor, I needed my business to be easily accessible for my team, no matter where I was, Smith explains. And those huge paper files were just too old-fashioned and difficult to handle.

SkySlope’s team of innovative developers achieved those goals in record time. But let me tell you, I was in for a surprise when I realized just how challenging it would be to make sure that our revolutionary software really took off.

Looking back now, it’s funny because I had no idea how much work and people power it would take to create, sell, onboard, and support a product like SkySlope, I said.

However, once my small team and I gained a little momentum, things started moving quickly.

Jump ahead a few years, and now SkySlope has 70 employees. We’re based in sunny Sacramento and have become the leading SaaS provider in the real estate industry – and it’s clear why.

I’ve got a service that really helps brokerages out, I say. We make things easier, faster, and more organized for agents, so they can focus on their clients and finding new business. And you know what? It actually helps the entire brokerage succeed.

Our service has been a game-changer for small, independent brokerages. It’s helped them provide unbeatable customer service and stand out in the real estate industry. They’re no longer overshadowed by the big players.

These small brokers need to show they’re right at the forefront, I explain. By offering transaction management software and coordination services, they can compete with the corporate giants and stay ahead.

Yes, there’s a price for these services, but that’s just part of doing business. Small brokers might be hands-on, but are they really helping their agents work smarter and better? If small brokers offer value, then they’ll have agents who stick around and succeed.

In the end, it’s all about providing amazing value that motivates Smith and his goals for SkySlope. You see, the real estate industry is always changing, and Smith knows that his company’s services need to change and improve too.

Right now, SkySlope is focusing on making our product simpler and more intuitive. Once we tackle that, our next step is to incorporate complete automation into the software, Smith explains. I want SkySlope to be like the Tesla of real estate software — fully automated, incredibly accurate, high-class, and easy to use.

I really enjoy working in the real estate industry, and being a Realtor was a job that I absolutely loved. It would be a shame to see this industry suffer and lose its value due to technological advancements, I say. What we need to do is embrace the technology that is changing the way real estate works, adapt, and find new ways to provide value.

I believe that agents who go above and beyond in delivering exceptional customer service will not only survive but also thrive in this changing landscape.
