But here’s the really awesome part: they’ve made some changes to the program to make it even more helpful for businesses. They want to make sure that all eligible businesses can apply for this grant and get the support they need.

Introducing the FHLBank Elevate Small Business Grant

Guess what? FHLBank in Indianapolis has this awesome grant program that helps small businesses like yours in Indiana and Michigan. It’s called the Elevate Grant and it can give you up to $20,000! How cool is that?

Now, to be eligible for the grant, you need to team up with one of the member institutions of FHLBank Indianapolis. Don’t worry, these partner institutions are spread out all over the place, so there’s probably one near you. They’ll be your guide and help you with your application before you submit it to FHLBank Indianapolis.

Virginia Community Climate Collaborative Grants

Let me tell you about the awesome work the Community Climate Collaborative (C3) is doing. They’re all about helping out minority-owned small businesses in Virginia. How cool is that?

C3 just finished their third round of funding, and it was their biggest one yet! Since they started this program in 2019, they’ve been making a big impact. This round alone had a whopping $20,000 in funds to give out.

Now, each eligible business could get up to $2,500 to make their businesses cleaner and greener. It’s all about those clean energy upgrades, my friend! With that money, lots of businesses were able to upgrade their old, energy-sucking lightbulbs to shiny new LED ones. Talk about a bright idea! Some even invested in energy efficient appliances, making their businesses more eco-friendly in a jiffy.
